"Tired Souls Seeking Home" is a deeply personal and collective visual journey that documents the emotional and physical struggles of women fleeing war, political persecution, and gender-based violence. As a journalist forced to flee Egypt due to state repression, I retraced my own escape from Egypt to Sudan, Turkey, and finally Germany,meeting countless women who, like me, risked everything for a chance at safety. Through forests, across borders, and in refugee camps, these women carry invisible wounds and fragile hopes.
